Truth

The shaper is one of the major characters in the novel Grendel. He does what he's supposed to do, he shapes the truth. He makes Hrothgar, his warriors, and danes feel empowered. He tells the story from the point of view of how the warriors would want it. Instead of giving the truth, he alters it to fit such scene they deem fit, like telling stories of how past warriors defeated such monsters, like Grendel before their time.
